Meagan’s laugh. I LOVE Meagan’s laugh. She has the kind of laugh that makes you laugh right along with her- even if you don’t know the joke. Okay- I like more than just her laugh! I absolutely adore Meagan. She and Jarrod both. Going back a month or two- we got together for drinks- and we spent hours together…. just laughing and chatting. It really was so much fun. So going into their wedding day, I was naturally excited to get to spend the weekend with them!
Friday afternoon and I pull up to the beautiful Mansion to attend the rehearsal. Not even out of the parking lot yet- I was greeted with smiles and hugs. Friends of these two were introducing themselves and including me right into the conversations. What a nice way to start the weekend. Each one of their friends (and family alike) were just as awesome as they are.
Jarrod and Meagan own an asphalt repair company- and they are currently in their busy season. If that isn’t stressful enough- running their own business AND planning an awesome kick-ass wedding…. Meagan is in school full time earning her Bachelors degree! She graduates next week! Can you believe that… one week after her wedding and she will be a college graduate!! Talk about impressive!
What a perfect weekend for a fall wedding! All the time spent planning really paid off. The carved pumpkins, decorative leaves, and warm color scheme really made their New England Autumn Wedding at the mansion perfect. They had just the right amount of details to really make their day Ooo… the Mansion! Perfect and simple. Meagan and her ladies got ready in the presidential suite. The very same suite where Franklin Roosevelt, Calvin Coolidge, and Woodrow Wilson once stayed.
I know I’ve said this before- but I freakin’ love this job. Now don’t get me wrong… it doesn’t come without its stressors, but the rewards totally outweigh the stress. My goal with every wedding is to authentically document what happened, as it happened. Most of which is done through the candid images captured. Now- it’s impossible for me to show you every picture we captured in a blog post…. but I can give you a quick glimpse into Meagan and Jarrod’s day! Enjoy!
