What a whirlwind of a weekend. And It all started with Alina and Nate’s wedding. I’m trying to come up with some words that can accurately describe their summer wedding. Beautiful, emotional, amazing. Those are a few words that come to mind… but none of those words even begin to come close to the picture that I want to paint.
Have you ever met a person, where just their presence puts you at ease? Someone who truly makes everyone around them feel warm and welcomed? Well, that’s Alina and Nate. It also accurately describes their friends and family. Every single friend and family member were warm, welcoming, kind and considerate. Not to mention- a total ton of fun! I had a blast working with them all on Alina and Nate’s wedding day!
The wedding day…. it certainly was a scorcher! I believe that it must have been the hottest day of the year- but that didn’t stop anyone from looking absolutely stunning! Surrounded by family and friends…. Alina and Nate got ready to walk down the aisle.
Family is precious. This wedding was very family centered. The church is the very same church where Alina’s Parents, Grandparents, and brother were married in. And although Alina’s Late father “Hank” wasn’t there in person- he certainly was there in spirit. I never had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Swiadas – but from what I gathered he was such a sweet person. A lobster fisherman who loved the sea. Tokens of his memory were thoughtfully woven into the theme of their day. From the gent’s lobster socks.. to Alina’s precious bead on her bouquet… to the adorable lobster crate at the reception. He was there with her. It was a joyful, and emotional day. One that I’m ever so honored to have been a part of.
