Vow Renewal Celebration in NH
This was my first Vow Renewal Celebrations in NH that I photographed- and it was such an honor! Typically I become friends with my couples after they hire me to photograph their wedding. They book with K. Lenox Photography, and through the process, we become great friends. But this time- this time was different. Jean-Marie and Dan have been friends of ours for quite some time! (Our youngest sons even had the same due date! LOL) So when they came to me asking for me to photograph their vow renewal celebration- I was beyond ecstatic!
The Happy Couple
These two love-birds met a while back on E-harmony– and have been inseparable ever since. Well- except for when Dan was deployed, as he is a well-respected Veteran who has served many tours overseas. One of these tours was when they were pregnant with Charlie, but he made it back home to witness the birth of their precious son, Charlie. And even though it rained on the day of their vow renewal celebration- they loved every minute of this special day! They were surrounded by their friends and family at their home church in Rindge NH.
So Why Renew your Vows anyway?
There are so many reasons to renew your vows– and each one is personal to each couple. For Jean-Marie and Dan, they wanted to have a wedding celebration that didn’t happen years ago. They wanted to celebrate 10 years of unconditional love, and to say “I love you” surrounded by their closest friends and family- and God. There were times when Jean-Marie teared up with joyful tears. It was a beautiful sight- to see a beautiful soul so open, in-love and happy.
The Vow Renewal Ceremony
The ceremony was sweet and simple. The Priest gave an amazing story and insight into what love really means. His words really hit home- and brought tears to some eyes.
