I'm the owner behind K. Lenox Photography, based in southwestern New Hampshire, and for the past fifteen years
I've been photographing weddings across New England for couples who want their day to feel like them — relaxed, genuine, a little candid, and unfussy. No forced poses, no chasing whatever's trending this week.

My Story
Before I picked up a camera professionally, I spent almost fourteen years as a charge nurse. It's an odd runway into wedding photography, but it shaped almost everything about how I work — staying calm when a timeline slips, reading a room fast, noticing the quiet moment happening in the corner while everyone else is watching the main event.
Nursing also taught me something about photographs I've never forgotten. I sat with a lot of families in their hardest moments, and again and again, it was a photograph people reached for — not to remember that someone existed, but to remember exactly how they laughed, how they looked at the people they loved. I started K. Lenox Photography in 2011 because of that. I'm not just taking your pictures. I'm making sure that decades from now, someone in your family still gets to see exactly how you looked at each other on this day.
Meet Mike
Mike is my friend, business partner and a lead photographer. He's been shooting alongside me for more than five years, though he didn't start out behind the camera. He was standing at the altar of one of our weddings, married in front of one of our lenses, before he ever picked one up himself.
Outside of weddings, Mike's a pharmacist, a dad to his daughter, Lily, and a diehard sports fan. The Buffalo Bills, specifically — and he will let you know.
He's not going to make this weird for you — he's already been you. He knows exactly how long you'll actually tolerate posing before your patience runs out — and he'll get the shot before that happens. And while I'm with the two of you, he's catching everything happening just outside my frame: your grandmother's reaction during the vows, your groomsmen cracking up before you walk down the aisle.

What working with us is actually like
Almost nobody feels like a natural in front of a camera — so if that's you, you're in very good company. Our job is to make that disappear fast. Most couples tell us afterward that they forgot we were even there.
We also take one wedding per weekend, on purpose. It means your wedding gets our full attention in the weeks leading up to it — not a shared slot on a crowded schedule — and we show up rested, not running on fumes from someone else's Friday wedding. And we care more about good light than a specific location; some of my favorite photos have come from an overcast Tuesday and a doorway with nice window light, not a bucket-list backdrop.
We are also a big believers in being easy to work with — for you, and for your other vendors. Your planner, your venue coordinator, your DJ — We are on their team too, because a wedding day runs better when everyone's rowing the same direction. Live instead of performed.

We believe that life's biggest and smallest moments are worth celebrating. You'll always find a bottle of champagne in our fridge in the event that the night deserves a bit of celebrating!

New isn't always better. We're big fans of spending the afternoon sifting through antique shops and secondhand stores for timeless pieces with secret stories. Our favorite find? A vintage pair of Jimmy's!
Where we Work
We are based in southwestern New Hampshire and photograph weddings throughout New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Maine, and the wider New England region — plus Charleston, Hilton Head, and Savannah, where I (Kris) have family.
I've also covered weddings across the East Coast, including Washington, D.C. and Pennsylvania, and traveled internationally for couples' sessions in Paris and Taiwan. Wherever your day takes us, I'm probably up for it — let's talk through travel.
