A Winter Wedding at Lakefalls Lodge | Morgan and Will

On January 31, 2026, Morgan and Will began their marriage surrounded by the quiet beauty of a New Hampshire winter at Lakefalls Lodge. This 250-acre private estate in Stoddard provided the ultimate rustic backdrop, blending 1927 Adirondack charm with the couple’s modern vision. As family and friends gathered, the lodge’s massive stone fireplaces and rugged exposed beams created a warm, intimate atmosphere that made every photograph of the day feel remarkably rich and dimensional. It was truly an experience in which Morgan and Will could celebrate their new chapter, surrounded by elegance and the peaceful tranquility of the New England woods. Having photographed their autumn engagement session here last year and returning to the lodge for their wedding day felt especially meaningful.

Lakefalls Lodge possesses a distinct, quiet grandeur, but it was Morgan and Will’s intention that truly defined the day. Supported by the incredible team at Evergreen Events NH and the venue’s attentive staff, the celebration felt both effortless and deeply personal. I approached this wedding not just to take photos, but to document a curated series of moments with the artistry and purpose they deserved

Preparations and a First Look with Dad

Morgan’s bridal look started with a quiet, morning glow and an unforgettable dress. Her New York Lace Couture gown, designed by Eddy K, boasted delicate appliqué and shimmering beadwork that looked radiant against the winter backdrop. Heaven Hair Gallery added the finishing touch, styling her hair into soft, romantic curls that perfectly complemented the gown’s intricate lace detailing.

Across the lodge, Will was a picture of classic style in his light gray suit and blue tie. His floral details by Afterall Floral were a subtle nod to Morgan’s lush ivory bouquet. But the real tear-jerker happened just before the ceremony: Morgan’s first look with her father. Against the backdrop of the grand stone fireplace, his reaction was pure, raw emotion. By capturing the hug from a distance, I was able to use the lodge’s warm light to frame a moment that now serves as the heart of their wedding gallery

The Ceremony

The ceremony space at Lakefalls Lodge balanced rustic architecture with refined design. Officiated by Joan McMenemy, the vows felt personal and steady, drawing guests into each word. As Morgan walked down the aisle, Will’s expression shifted instantly, and I captured that fleeting change in real time.

After they were pronounced together, applause filled the room, and winter light filtered gently through the windows. We then moved on to family portraits, wedding party photos, and intimate newlywed portraits. The stone exterior and cozy indoor spaces offered versatile backdrops, allowing me to create both structured group images and relaxed, editorial-style couple portraits. Every wedding at Lakefalls Lodge offers this balance of texture and light, which elevates each photograph with depth and warmth.

Reception Highlights and Celebration

As evening settled in, the reception space glowed with candlelight and floral centerpieces by Afterall Floral. Morgan and Will made their grand entrance to enthusiastic cheers before stepping into their first dance. Mobile Video and Photography documented the movement alongside me, preserving every angle. Dinner, prepared by Mezzanine Catering, delighted guests with a thoughtfully curated menu.

Heartfelt speeches followed, along with parent dances that filled the room with both laughter and reflection. The elegant cake from Jacques Fine European Pastries added a classic finishing touch before the energy shifted to the dance floor. When Matt Feehan opened the floor, guests gathered instantly, and the celebration carried late into the evening with music, movement, and pure joy.

Morgan & Will’s Wedding at Lakefalls Lodge

Morgan and Will’s January wedding at Lakefalls Lodge reflected thoughtful design, heartfelt connection, and seamless collaboration between an exceptional vendor team. From preparations to the final song, every detail worked together to create a cohesive and elevated experience.

As a photographer, I focus on storytelling that feels refined yet genuine, ensuring that each couple’s wedding gallery preserves not only how the day looked, but how it felt. If you are planning your own wedding at Lakefalls Lodge and want timeless, light-filled imagery that captures every chapter of your celebration, I would love to document your story with care and intention.
