Lindsay and Tyler wanted a setting, where they had the whole place to themselves for an entire weekend. (Rather than just a few hours. ) They wanted the wedding to be a destination weekend celebration where everyone could meet and mingle on Friday. And by Sunday feel like they were all family and had connected through the celebrations.
And that’s where Lake Falls Lodge comes into play! Lindsay and Tyler’s Fall wedding was smashing hit, as everyone loved everything that the lodge had to offer!
If you are looking for a beautiful venue to host your fall wedding- then Lake Fall’s Lodge will not disappoint! It offers such a versatile space where the views are second to none. Below are just a few images of venue grounds that were beautifully dressed up with the help from Naturally Elegant Designs, and Memorable Events!
But… before we dive into the Fall Wedding at Lake Falls Lodge… Let’s back up a tad… and meet the couple!!
Tyler is a project manager for Shawmut Design and Construction, a general contracting firm out of Boston. Lindsay is a Nurse Practitioner. (Who may be heading back to school soon too!)
Tyler and Linsday both attended Denison University (a small school in the middle of Ohio) at the same time, and despite having many mutual friends they did not meet in college. They met after college in Boston.
Tyler LinkedIn messaged Lindsay wanting to get together after learning that she had moved to Boston after college. She messaged him back with her number, and never heard from him. 6 months later at a birthday party of one of our mutual friends, at Tyler’s house, they connected in person. Me saying “Why did you never call me? What is your deal?” And we have been inseparable since.
And now they are married!!
Lindsay had a feeling the proposal was coming soon, so she had prepared with a manicure and making sure I had appropriate clothes packed for our trip home over the 4th of July week. However, she did not expect him to propose right after their 4-hour car ride from NYC to her hometown Sudbury. They went on a casual walk down the street from her mom’s house in Sudbury with their dog Dunkin.
Once in the park, Tyler started talking about their future and their relationship. Lindsay kept trying to interject, as he would kiss her to shut her up and let him finish. Then on a stone bridge over a brook in the park, he got down on one knee and proposed.
She was dressed in boxer shorts and a tank, and just said “Oh this is happening now!?” before then crying and saying yes. Thank god there was no hidden photographer or bystanders! They got back to her mom’s house, popped a bottle of champagne and had a private celebration.
Then they headed into town, where Lindsay thought they were meeting her mom after a client meeting. To her surprise, they ended up at their first date spot, and both their families were there to surprise them!
So Let’s get started really seeing a little more into Lindsay and Tyler’s Summer wedding at Lake Falls Lodge!
We will start out with the prep and carry on from there!!

The couple really wanted a wedding that was Loving, extravagant, and fun!! And like I mentioned earlier- it all started with games and the welcome cookout! So. much. fun!
The ceremony site was near the stone structure on Lake Fall’s Property. Naturally elegant designs did dressed the already beautiful area up with florals and green’s that brought the beauty to a whole new level!
