Rustic Engagement Photos
I was on cloud nine when I left this session! There is something special about hanging out with genuinely happy people. It’s contagious! So- let me introduce you to Tricia and Jay! Although they live outside of Boston- they chose to come to their family cabin for some Rustic Engagement Photos that truly speaks to who they are.
Tricia’s family owns the most amazing few cabins Right on Swanzey Lake. She’s been visiting this area since childhood, so it just made sense to incorporate this big piece into their engagement session!
Be true to who you are as a couple…
Engagement sessions are a great way to just have fun and relax. There are many schools of thought on this but I’ll share what I feel. I feel perfection is boring, and believe that each couple should embrace who they are and truly own it. My goal with every engagement session is to document a genuine relationship between two people. I want to capture their unique quirks. Real heartfelt laughs, and the goofy inner child. If you’re a more serious couple- let that shine through. If you enjoy goofy jokes- embrace it! These photos are meant to document you. Imperfections and all. But in reality- those “imperfections” are actually beautifully perfect.
One day, I want your future grandkids to look back at the photos we made together and truly see who you (were) ARE as a couple.

These two are definitely my kinds of peeps. When I arrived- it was fun from the start. And these two… the way they make each other laugh makes my heart melt. I’m kinda at a loss for words because of how much fun I had with these two. When I left from hanging with them- I immediately called my friend Jenn (Also their wedding planner!) and just raved how much I loved my job. And the reason I love my job is because of the incredible couples I get to work with! I can’t wait for their wedding day! They are planning a rustic wedding at Camp Takodah this October! Which fits in perfectly with who they are!
