Simple Backyard Wedding
When Cleber and Alice wrote telling me about their plans for a simple backyard wedding – I was so excited for them! In order to keep their sweet wedding simple, yet classic: they chose to incorporate a few DIY wedding details! Some of those details include an artificial bridal bouquet, an arbor adorned with that same floral theme. The flowers were pink and white- mixed with some artificial greenery.
Alice, not only a beautiful bride- but she was also glowing as she is a mother-to-be as well. When I met with these two… Cleber said something so authentic and real. . . . He stated… “My entire life is sitting right next to me. My entire family is right here. ” And with this mindset in mind… there was nothing about this sweet day that could have brought this couple down.
Unlike other weddings- this one was very laid back. No rushed time-lines… just a go with the flow feel! After the ceremony was a low key white tent reception where the guests all enjoyed a buffet of delicious foods and DIY beverages, and some light music playing in the background.

This simple backyard wedding ceremony was anything other than ordinary. They did a fantastic job of having a classic and elegant feel to their celebration.

The Reception
What I loved about this simple backyard wedding was it truly was simple. There were a select few DIY wedding details sprinkled throughout the private venue. Some of which you will see below. Like their Wildflower table centerpieces- and a “family tree”. This tree showcased family portraits throughout the generations. And as for reception events- they just had some beautiful, tear-shedding dances between the parents and of course the newlyweds. It really was quite amazing.
