Emily and Brandon are Fun. Like F.U.N kinda fun. And they wanted a wedding that truly reflected their fun and laidback sides… so they chose the Elks Camp in Keene!
There’s one thing I love- it’s when each couple can stay true to their own visions! And they plan out a wedding that speaks to who they are. You will read below that Emily and Brandon really stayed true to their visions, and everyone benefited from the fun vibe that was carried through the day.
Getting Ready
Weddings are crazy fun and so totally unscripted. Aside from the ‘plan’ you really don’t know how the day is going to go. But one thing is for certain… it will be perfect. NO. MATTER. WHAT.
Despite a couple of setbacks during the getting ready portion of the day- this couple and their friends shared so many laughs!! (and oh how I wish I could share them all here! HAHA )
You may be wondering what some of those setbacks were. Oh, Well… you know… the usual things that can happen on a wedding day.
- Losing the Engagement Ring (Check)

- And getting into a fight with a Bidet (yes… this happened! haha)

The Bridal Prep
Emily is Exquisite. Just look for yourselves. Truly no explanation needed here. LOL. She is stunning on the outside, and even more beautiful on the inside.
The Groom
Brandon is seriously just so handsome! (Not to mention a USMC Veteran!!) And what makes him even more special… is his kick-ass fun personality! Supportive, kind, and funny- it was amazing seeing him with his new bride on their wedding day.
The First look
Photographing Emily and Brandon has always been so electric. (I mean… did you check out their Engagement session? ) These two are just so in love… and every glance, every gentle kiss, and caress of the hand shows it.
The Wedding Party
The Ceremony
Emily and Brandon chose the church because they were both raised Catholic. The Church was an important part of both of their upbringings and their relationships with both of their maternal grandmothers. Also, both of their parents were married in the same church.
They were excited to bring the religious/spiritual element into their wedding because it is an important reminder for the difficult times they may face as a couple.
The Reception
They chose the Elk’s Camp because Emily was adamant about having an open bar for their big day…LOL. The Elk’s seemed like the only way to do so affordably. Emily attended a wedding at the Elk’s previously and loved that it was just very laid back and fun. Nothing was rushed and the celebration was certainly not “stiff”. She just wanted somewhere, where everyone can drink, dance, and enjoy.

Emily’s Dance with her father was especially entertaining because her dress decided come undone. BUT it was okay- because her dress was actually a strapless anyway… it just had a beautiful attachment! (So it was the attachment that came undone. ) But you won’t find any tears here… nope… only full-on Belly laughs! Take a peek!

Wedding Days are rarely perfect…
Which is what makes wedding days so perfect. All these little mishaps that may happen… just make the wedding day story more interesting and special. And at the end of the day- you are still married to your best friend.
In Emily and Brandon’s case… with their Laidback Wedding at Elk Camp. Sure… they had some minor mishaps…. but what made the day so much fun…was the ability to laugh at them. So to me… they had the perfect wedding day!
