Lake Winnipesaukee with Meg and Andy

There we were, up near Lake Winnipesaukee at #camphawthorne. And as we were surrounded by blue waters, green trees, a gentle breeze, we were getting ready to celebrate one of the biggest, most incredible days of Meg and Andy’s Life. Engulfed by feelings of anticipation, love, and excitement, I was beyond honored to be sharing this all with a couple as awesome as these two! Man! What a perfect day for a rustic wedding!

It was a weekend full of eating, family kickball games and campfires; Yummy smores, mixed drinks (and massive amounts of spiders! LOL) But most of all… It was a wedding weekend full of fun, love, and friendship.

As I reflect back to Meghan and Andy’s engagement session I remember how much fun I had!! So, I’m sure you can imagine just how excited I was for their wedding weekend. The more that I get to know a couple- the more excited I get for their wedding. I am, “head- over- heels” crazy about these two!

When you see these two together- it’s really obvious how they feel about each other. They have a fun- loving, light-hearted way about them. Yet- you can see that their feelings run deep.

Having their wedding at a camp, it came with a few minor hiccups…. but nothing that the couple couldn’t handle. I LOVED their reactions to everything- “It is what it is”… I recall Meg saying at one point. And that’s the perfect way to look at it.

Meg and Andy infused their personalities all over the camp. Little details here, signs there… it was perfect! And As I reflect back on their day- I can’t help but be totally blown away by their ceremony. And… Yeah, I admit… at one point I teared up. There was the perfect amount of humor and sincerity, so much so that I’m getting choked up just writing about it. And to see Andy wipe a tear of joy from his bride’s cheek … well, that was priceless….
