Fun and Laid Back Couple’s Session
You may remember seeing Gary and Dorrie on my blog back in April for their Surprise Wedding! Typically we do engagement photos before the couple gets married. But because of their unique situation- we had this fun and laid back couple’s session just the other day!!
I’m always encouraging my couples to embrace their own “weird”. Now when I say this… I’m not calling anyone weird. I’m just trying to imply that we all have our own unique quirks, and we should embrace them! Love them! And totally own them. We are each #badass in our own ways. And when we each realize that these “quirks” are what makes us badass… we can just relax and be ourselves. And during a photo session- this is when genuine and authentic images are made.
Dorrie and Gary
These two are so totally in love! If you remember a little about their story- you may recall that Dorrie surprised Gary with the wedding of their dreams. A beautiful ceremony surrounded by their closest friends and family. I’ve never photographed a wedding quite like that. It was special on so many levels. So when these two wanted to have a fun and laid back couples session- I was all about it!
The session
We met on the backside of Target in Keene and that’s where the fun started! A little Jack Daniels joined in on the fun! Gary and Dorrie have such a childlike freedom and fun romance, that made the perfect recipe for this fun and laid back couples session!

Though I have to admit- having #jackdaniels come along on the session was pretty fun!
