Chelsea And John Get Married At Sugarbush Resort

Ah, Sugarbush Resort! It’s a venue I’ve enjoyed capturing many weddings at, and Chelsea and John’s was another feather in the cap. With its splendid outdoor charm, the resort was a perfect backdrop for their love-filled ceremony. Having shot their engagement session, the connection I had with them made this day even more special. And speaking of love stories, theirs is an adorable throwback to the 90s. They first crossed paths on AOL Instant Messenger, thanks to a mutual friend. You read it right: online dating before it became the norm (so cool!). Proud ’90s babies’, their journey from that initial online chat to this beautiful wedding day has been heartwarming.

Chelsea And John Get Married At Sugarbush Resort

Chelsea and John’s wedding day started with as much excitement and joy as you’d expect from this radiant couple. Every time I took a picture of the bride, groom, and their loved ones, they would look at the camera with their thousand-watt smiles, and their love would shine through. Chelsea and her girl squad wore matching checkered shirts, a thoughtful touch that made for some great shots. Then came the transformation into elegant dresses, with Chelsea stealing the show in her breathtaking wedding gown that boasted an exquisite train.

Over at John’s end, it was a quick change into sharp suits followed by a boys-only toast. The clinking glasses and shared laughter set the tone for the day filled with joy, camaraderie, and a celebration of love. Before the wedding bells could ring, John and Chelsea had a heartfelt first look. As Chelsea arrived, John’s face lit up with happiness. Sugarbush Resort’s stunning outdoor setups and natural surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for my couple’s memorable first look. John and Chelsea held hands, shared a sweet kiss, and were SO LOVE! And it surely made my heart go, “awwww”!

I enjoyed capturing all of the magical moments from John and Chelsea’s wedding ceremony! Chelsea walked up the aisle with her father and donned a chic faux fur coat. The couple’s ceremony altar featured wooden beams decorated with green leaves and bright fall flowers. John and Chelsea exchanged their vows with nature’s beauty surrounding them and said, “I do.”

Celebrating The Newlyweds

Chelsea and John’s wedding reception was the ultimate peak – The energy, love, and fun – it was all off the charts! The reception started with the couple’s first dance, but the couple decided to mix things up and do the parent dances simultaneously! Seeing them share that moment with their parents, all swaying together on the dance floor, was a unique and heartfelt twist that really showcased their close-knit families. Things got even cooler from then on – my lovely couple brought out a shot ski! They grabbed an end, lifted it up, and BAM – shots done together!

And can we talk about the genius move of having a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream stand? I mean, who needs a traditional dessert table when you can have scoops of pure happiness! Chelsea and John nailed it with this sweet treat surprise, which made their reception even more memorable.
