As a wedding photographer, I love being able to capture special moments that my couples can get to cherish for a lifetime. I was thrilled when Hannah and Justin contacted me to photograph their wedding at the ever-so-beautiful Mountain Grand View Resort and Spa in New Hampshire. I knew these lovebirds from before, as I had the privilege of shooting their engagement session at Alyson’s Orchard earlier. It was so much fun getting to see their relationship blossom during their engagement session, and I knew that their wedding would be just as special and heartwarming. Surrounded by loved ones on a bright sunny day, here’s the story of how Hannah and Justin said, “I do”.
It was a gorgeous fall day at the Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa that played host to Hannah and Justin’s wedding. Nestled in the White Mountains, the resort is an amazing setting for a wedding. Whether you’re getting married in one of the grand ballrooms or exchanging vows on the terrace, the mountain vistas provide breathtaking backdrops for your wedding pictures. And complementing all the beauty are luxurious amenities that the venue offers to make your wedding day perfect!
On Hannah and Justin’s wedding day, I started by photographing the bride getting ready with her bridesmaids. Hannah looked so calm and composed as her bridesmaids fixed her dress and hair. Brielle, the couple’s sweet little daughter, was the flower girl for the wedding and looked absolutely adorable in her dress – she was the cutest! Brielle hugged her mom as she got all dressed up, and it was such a precious moment to capture.
Hannah and Justin’s wedding was all the more special with their brilliant choice in decor. Justin and Hannah, if you’re reading this, I just want to say that you planned everything to the T. It was superb! Their wedding ceremony was held outdoors, and the fall flower arrangements matched Hannah’s bridal bouquet. My lovely couple ingeniously planned to place flowers in wooden barrels to give the wedding a rustic vibe.
Justin became so emotional when he saw his bride walk down the aisle. He was tearing up while hugging his mom and seeing Hannah in her white dress. And this is why I love being a wedding photographer, it gives me the opportunity to capture some really wonderful moments. It’s always so heartwarming to see couples exchange their vows and start their lives together. Justin and Hannah looked so happy and in love, and I’m so glad that I could be a part of their celebration.
After the ceremony, it was time to whisk away the newlyweds for some couple portraits! I love it when a venue offers so many striking places to take couple portraits! Hannah and Justin were troopers, walking all around the resort with me to find the perfect spots for their photos. We found one spot, in particular, that was just breathtaking, the lighting was ideal with the mountains in the background.
Their wedding reception was held in a gorgeous light-filled room and a stunning chandelier hanging in the center. The tables were decorated with exquisite centerpieces, and the entire room had a very airy, romantic feel. As Hannah and Justin took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife, all eyes were on them. Justin twirled Hannah around the dance floor, and she laughed in delight. The speeches that followed only confirmed what everyone already knew: Hannah and Justin were meant to be together.
Hannah and Justin’s four-tier white cake was delicately decorated with fresh seasonal flowers. And while Justin and his groomsmen had some boys’ time outside, the ladies enjoyed a fun-filled bouquet toss! Throughout the day, I could see their love radiate. Whether it was during the ceremony or when they were slow dancing together, Hannah and Justin’s love was evident in every frame. It was an absolute honor to be able to document such a beautiful day for such an amazing couple.
Hannah and Justin, you both make such a lovely couple, and it was such a pleasure to be able to freeze in time your wedding day! Hats off to the both of you for your brilliant planning. Thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer. Congratulations once again, and I wish you both the best!
