I still remember the first time I met Caroline and David during their engagement session last June 30 in Manchester, Vermont. Watching them together during the session, I could already imagine how beautiful their wedding day would be: relaxed, full of warmth, and surrounded by the timeless scenery Vermont is known for. Two months later, their vision came to life at Old Gray Barn, one of Vermont’s most beloved countryside venues. Set against a landscape of rolling hills and open skies, the day carried that perfect balance of rustic charm and refined celebration that truly reflected who they are as a couple.

Vermont’s Countryside Elegance

Located in Dorset, Vermont, the Old Gray Barn offered the kind of setting that feels both secluded and grand. Just a few miles from Dorset Village Green and the lively town of Manchester, the venue is surrounded by sweeping mountain views and lush green fields that make every direction camera-worthy.
The two-story post-and-beam barn blends tradition and modern comfort seamlessly from its open layout to the soft natural light that filters through the wood beams. Designed with effortless logistics in mind, it gave everyone space to move, mingle, and truly enjoy the celebration. Guest accommodations were arranged at nearby inns, and private transportation made the day flow with ease.

A Day to Remember

As the evening came to a close, guests gathered outside for a sparkler send-off beneath the Vermont stars. Caroline and David shared one last kiss before walking down the barn path, surrounded by cheers and glowing light.
From behind my lens, I could feel the love that filled every corner of that barn, not just between Caroline and David but among everyone who came to celebrate them. Their wedding at the Old Gray Barn was more than a beautiful event. It was a reflection of their warmth, their kindness, and the deep connections they share with the people around them. Every moment felt genuine, every smile told a story, and I am grateful to have captured it all.
