As a wedding photographer, documenting love stories is one of my favorite things to do. Nothing is better than being a part of someone’s most special day and witnessing the love between two people. One memorable wedding I had the pleasure of photographing was Marci and Mike’s Bedford Village Inn wedding. I had already had the pleasure of photographing the couple for their engagement session, so their beautiful story was well-known to me, but I knew their winter wedding experience was going to be even more amazing, filled with love and joy.
Marci and Mike’s special day began with me photographing them as they were getting ready. Seeing the groom with his “boys” and capturing their pre-game toast was a special early moment that was fun to capture. Marci and her bridesmaids were also having a good time getting ready. Marci’s wedding dress was so delicate and beautiful. The long veil added to her ethereal look, which complemented the vibrant winter-white roses from her bouquet perfectly. Marci and Mike’s first look was super emotional and memorable. There were lots of happy tears and it was an amazing sight to witness. Seeing the couple filled with so much joy and love will stick with me forever.
The Bedford Village Inn was the perfect venue for Marci and Mike’s wedding. From the beautifully adorned pine trees to the twinkling fairy lights and wooden signs, each stunning piece of decoration had been thoughtfully accounted for with lovely winter colors throughout the venue.
The ceremony itself was breathtaking and only got better because Marci’s dad surprised everyone with a bagpipe player! His music added extra enchantment to the ceremony that completed the atmosphere of joy. Mike’s smile said it all – a strong, deep affection that radiated his love for Marci. Marci’s dad walking her down the aisle towards Mike evoked an incredibly strong emotion in everyone present. His face while giving away his daughter was just so loving and tender! The twinkling fairy lights lit up the ceremony as the couple said their vows and sealed them with a kiss. Every detail of the decoration seemed to paint a picture of love and celebration of the couple’s union with all their family and friends. It truly felt like a fairytale winter wonderland.
Marci and Mike danced into the room to get the wedding reception started, setting the tone for what would be an incredible night. Watching the newlyweds twirl around the dance floor for their first dance was beautiful – they were so lost in each other’s embrace and enveloped in a bubble of love. There were also some beautiful speeches filled with memorable stories that made us all laugh and cry. The highlight had to have been the gorgeous winter white wedding cake topped with pine trees, red berries, and pine cones – it looked like a true Holiday treat. It was an unforgettable day that was vibrant, fun-filled, and full of cheers, laughter, and happy dancing.
Marci and Mike, thank you for choosing me as your wedding photographer. It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of your celebration. And it was truly an honor being able to capture all the special moments of your big day. Congratulations, once again.
