Alex & Patrick | Bedford Village Inn Wedding

As a wedding photographer, I absolutely love being part of all the love stories and getting to know my awesome couples, like Alex and Patrick. I had already photographed their engagement session and so I knew photographing their wedding would be amazing – and it definitely was! These childhood friends turned lovers had a beautiful winter wedding and what made their Bedford Village Inn wedding unique was that my bride doesn’t particularly like to be the center of attention, so all of the events took place very quickly. Yet despite how fast-paced it felt, there wasn’t a dull moment and every minute seemed stunning and full of laughter, making it even more memorable for me as well as everyone who attended. Alex and Patrick reminded me just how beautiful true love is when you’re ready to embrace the journey.

Alex And Patrick’s Bedford Village Inn Wedding

Alex and Patrick getting ready were first on the list for the photography. It filled me with so much joy seeing the bride so cheerful, angelic, and happy, and the groom looking incredibly handsome. That energy of anticipation was contagious and really inspired me as I started documenting all the special moments leading up to them saying ‘I do’. One of my favorite moments of their day was when I captured Alex’s first look with her father; it was simply beautiful. His expression of love and admiration for his daughter melted everyone’s hearts.

Bedford Village Inn was a picture-perfect location for Alex and Patrick’s big day. Normally stunning with its charming hardwood floors and stylish furniture, the venue looked even better decked out with classic Christmas-themed decor complete with wreaths and holly accents, making it the ideal setting for a winter wedding. The traditional Christmas tree fit in perfectly with my couple’s proposal story as Patrick asked Alex to marry him in front of a tree just like it. It was truly a special moment in time that I will never forget.

Alex was glowing as she walked down the aisle towards Patrick. The couple was beaming throughout their ceremony. From the exciting smiles to gazing into each other’s eyes, I could tell that this union was exactly what they had envisioned since getting engaged.

Alex and Patrick were simply stunning as they posed for their couples portraits. The chemistry between them was so obvious as they were constantly smiling, stealing kisses, and gazing into each other’s eyes. It felt like time stood still for a moment as I captured all the romantic moments of their wedding day. Although it rained the majority of the day, after dark we ventured out to get photos under the string-lights in the courtyard – an especially important location that the bride wanted captured. Alex and Patrick’s love radiated off them as they laughed and embraced each other beneath the lights.

All eyes were on Alex and Patrick as they danced their way into the reception hall. They shared an endearing first dance, and it was so romantic watching them get lost in each other’s eyes while twirling around the dance floor. It wasn’t long before everyone joined in and filled the dance floor. The evening was truly one full of joy, love, and lots of dancing!
