Autumn’s Keene High Senior Portraits
“Unexpected intrusions of beauty. This is what life is.” ~ Saul Bellow. That is one of Autumns favorite quotes. It’s one I’ve never heard… but I instantly fell in love with it! How more perfect can one statement sum up life?
I can not even begin to tell you how much fun I had with Autumn during her Keene Senior Portraits. Autumn was super pumped for her session – and was planning for it for months! Which makes me happy- because I L-O-V-E working with gals who value this and look at this, not just as a “photo session” but an experience. (and next year – I have a whole re-vamped experience!!) Anyway… What was really important to her was being able to capture the full New England Foliage in her pictures. We started off in Swanzey for some images on one of the walking path’s Bridges… then we “chased the light!”. Autumn, her Mom Lori and I then ventured downtown Keene and finished our session on Keene State’s campus! (Which was fitting because Lori is an Alum! )
Now lets hear more about Autumn!! When I asked her a few questions- these were her answers!!
•College plans? If so- what is your first choice school?
I plan on attending Southern New Hampshire University.
•What do you plan on majoring in? Why?
I plan on majoring in Fashion Merchandising through the degree in three program with a focus on Buisness Management. I will also have the oppritunity to study abroad in Florence Italy, which I am hoping I will be able to do.
•Do you have any hobbies?
I enjoy reading, hiking, going on adventures spending time with family and friends and cheering for my highschool.
•What are some accomplishments you are proud of? (Sports , academic, extracurricular, family etc)
A few things I’m proud of would be freshman year being awarded Most Improved for cheerleading, Junior Year being awarded Outstanding Academic Performance in English and senior year I was selected as buisness student of the month.
•What are you going to miss most about High School?
What I am going to miss most about High school ? There is so much Im going to miss. I’m going to miss the overall atmosphere, the amazing teachers who have molded me into the student I am today, participating in highschool cheer for football and basktball and most of all the amazing opportunities that have gotten out of High school.
•What are you looking forward to most after graduation?
I am looking forward to starting the next chapter in my life and becoming independent as I continue on to higher education in hopes to fufill my dreams of owning and managing my own clothing storem
•Any other information you would like included?
The best things to do in life are to follow you’re dreams and never let anything get inbetween you and your happiness.
•Where do you see your self in 10 years?
In 10 years I see myself owning and managing my own clothing store, supporting a family and turning all my dreams into reality.
And in 10 years- she’ll be able to look back at these images and re-live every moment!
