If you are looking for a country-style wedding venue in New Hampshire, Allrose Farm in Greenfield can be the perfect fit for you. With verdant lawns and elegant indoors, it is an antique and romantic wedding property. When Erika and Eric got married at this private boutique venue and chose me to photograph their big day, I was delighted to create some memorable wedding pictures for my couple against the breathtaking backdrops of the location. Erika and Eric’s wedding was truly wonderful. It was a classy and laid-back affair at the same time. Once the ceremony was over, everyone was just so relaxed and had so much fun. What an amazing bunch of guests to photograph!
Eric is a police officer, and Erika, a nurse. Both of them are just the coolest people I’ve met. These two high-school sweethearts have the most beautiful love story! Talking about how they met, Erika said, “We went to high school together. Mutual friends. We reconnected a few years later via Facebook.”
“Our first date was when I turned 21. I was celebrating in Portsmouth with girlfriends, and he came to Portsmouth to join the celebration. We both ended up drinking too much. He ended up staying the night with us at the hotel. This was our first kiss in the elevator of the hotel,” my bride gushed. What a super cute story, Erika!
Going to the Allrose Farm to photograph Erika and Eric’s wedding was like catching up with old friends, as I had also shot their engagement session two years ago. Like their engagement, Erika and Eric’s wedding was just as beautiful and full of fun. Tim, Erika’s uncle, officiated the ceremony and also played the role of the wedding coordinator. And I have to give a huge shout-out to him and his daughter Brittany. Together they make one hell of a team! I loved that they choreographed the first dance for the couple! Tim and his daughter both work in the theater, and his daughter helped teach them the dance, and it was incredible!
The story of my couple’s first date also came into play, as it became part of their wedding ceremony. Erika knew that he was “the one” when they met on her birthday years ago, and Eric’s birthday was just the day before. But he chose not to disclose it because he didn’t want to steal her day. Now that’s some lovely gesture, Eric!
During the ceremony, I loved how Erika couldn’t hold back her tears of happiness. Another highlight of the day was when their family surprised Erika and Eric with a limo ride to the airport right after their sparkler exit. And what I admired the most was how much these guys love each other. Erika and Eric, if you are reading this, I hope you see the same love and warmth in your wedding images.
Erika and Eric, you two are lovely inside out! I loved documenting your gorgeous wedding at the Allrose Farm and want to thank you for trusting me with your wedding photography. I wish you both a very happy married life and lots of adventures together!
