How cool is this idea? A Harry Potter-Themed Wedding! Well, that is exactly what Lorraine and Justin did for their October 26th Wedding at Stonewall farm!
Before I dive into how cool their wedding was, I would love to elaborate on how freakin’ cool these two are.
What exactly do I mean by “badass”? Well.. it doesn’t mean biker chicks who have been arrested. or being bitchy to others just to make yourself look “cool”. Nope. My version of BADASS is this: Love yourself and own who you are. If you’ve been in trouble but can own up to making a mistake… now that’s badass! If you failed at something, only to keep trying harder… that’s badass! If you’ve stood by a friend through thick and thin… that’s BADASS. If you had a poor self-image- but you are working on loving yourself more- BADASS!
In my eyes…. Being badass just means being the best version of yourself. It means making mistakes and learning from them. It means owning (and loving) who you are, faults and all! I’ll admit… that is something that I’ve struggled with in the past. (hell- I still do!) I tend to be too hard on myself. And that is one reason why I LOVE working couples like Lorraine and Justin.
I just described these two to a “t”. And their Harry Potter themed wedding was just an extension of who they are. So… it naturally was as AWESOME as they are! (Take a peek at their Harry Potter Engagement Session!
Harry Potter, a boy who learns on his eleventh birthday that he is the orphaned son of two powerful wizards and possesses unique magical powers of his own. There is this whole series…. and Lorraine and Justin incorporated bits and pieces into their Fall Wedding!
Their ceremony was complete with a custom made “Deathly Hallows”
You both are so totally kick-ass awesome!! Keep on being you.
xoxo
