Maya Angelou- said it first… but it didn’t hit home until Sarah’s father recited these very same words during his touching speech at the reception.  He was talking about how much he has learned from his beautiful daughter through the years.   He went on to describe Sarah as a very caring and generous person who would do anything for everyone.  Always willing to help- always making everyone around her feel warm and welcomed.    As he was talking-  I was nodding.  I think sub-consciously at first, but I did end up realizing my head moving up and down agreeing everything that he was saying.  I felt that very same way about Sarah.  Not only is she stunningly gorgeous- she has the inner beauty to go along with it.

And I’ll tell you what-  Things go wrong all the time on wedding days.  And I always say that even if things aren’t perfect-  they will be perfect.  Everything happens for a reason.  Well…  Sarah’s calm and positive demeanor really shone on her wedding day after a minor mis-hap with her wedding gown.   It was accidentally burnt at the bottom by a heating vent.  No worries though-  everyone pulled together and all prayers were answered, as the Good Lord sent us Cathy.

Cathy- the owner of Country Bridals in Jaffrey went above and beyond to come to the aide of this incredible bride on her wedding day.    Lindsay (Brides maid and Justin’s sister) called the shop initially asking for advice about how to handle this.  Much to our surprise-  Cathy made the trek!  She Drove 2 hours to  repair Sarah’s wedding gown on site, and all in time for the wedding!   I guess it’s safe to say that Cathy loves what she does and she cares about her brides.  We were all moved to tears by her generosity.

Now back to the couple.  I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited for this wedding.   I’ve hung out with Justin and Sarah on numerous occasions, and each time I’m truly captivated by how these two interact with each other.   Sarah’s laugh is contagious- and Justin’s ability to bring down the house with his rap lyrics- really makes for an awesome time!  But even better-  you can really feel how much these two love each other.  Seeing these two together is like being love-struck.   And I was the lucky one to be on hand to help tell their wedding day story.  (If you would like to see their engagement session- you can do so HERE!)

The rest of their big day was perfect!   And I LOVED how their visions came to life-  The ladies each had  different dresses- yet all in a deep purple color- accented by simple and elegant  Tulip bouquets and the aisle was lined with baby’s breath. The perfect touch.    For the gents, their look was completed with their Ray Ban sunglasses.    I loved how elegant, yet relaxed their entire day was.    I know I’ve said this already-  but it really was the perfect day.
