Sweet Backyard Elopement

This sweet backyard elopement ended up being just so special for me. Have you ever just met someone(s)… who you immediately like? Well, this was the case for me.

Megan called me on Monday. She and her fiance Paul were planning a quick elopement for that coming Friday. They originally had a plan to be married in December, but with all the chaos that surrounds us in the world today… they didn’t want to wait any longer.

They always wanted to keep things simple and intimate. Getting married to each other was truly the only thing that mattered. So… they made it happen!

What was their Wedding Vision…

Their dreams of a stunning, simple, and Sweet Backyard Elopement came to life. In little less than a week’s time! Megan and Paul wanted it to be outside, while surrounded by nature. And that’s exactly what they got!

Let’s hear about the Proposal!

Megan and Paul met online, and fell head over heels for each other! And eventually- the proposal happened! And the quick story is below!

“We were on vacation and we went to this dock the day before my birthday and I said I loved the location! I wanted to see the sun ride there the next day which was my birthday! We watched the sunrise and when I turned around he was waiting on one knee!”

What was the best part about the proposal?

“Being able to wake up next to him on my birthday!”

I was able to get just a few photos of Megan getting ready!! She was all smiles!! It made my heart melt. 🙂

What surprised you most about your backyard elopement?

“That we got to plan it all together without any stress!”

What advice would you offer other couples planning their elopement?

“It’s your day! This is about the two of you and you should just focus on that when making your decisions about the wedding.”
