Senior year! Wow. What an amazing milestone in one’s life. When I reflect back on my senior year, I feel a bit nostalgic. I mean, there is so much excitement about the future, mixed with a “What the hell am I going to do after graduation?” kind of anxiety. Though looking back- I realize now that what the adults were saying is true. “The world is your oyster”.

If only we each could truly believe that for ourselves… where would we be today? Where do you want to go? It’s never too late. Being positive, believing in yourself, learning that it’s okay to make mistakes, these are all skills I wish I had back in high school. That said, this is one reason why I LOVE working with High School senior gals. I really enjoy seeing all the anticipation and wonder. I see the beauty in them. Inner beauty. They each have their quirks, and seeing those who own their own weird… makes my heart so happy! Laura is one of the most beautiful girls that I’ve had the pleasure of working with! I just adored her ability to be true to her. She really let her personality truly shine through. (And not to mention… I LOVED that she wore her dad’s vintage Levi’s Jean Jacket for her Chesterfield Senior Photos- and ROCKED IT AT THAT!)
I can’t wait to see the awesome things Laura will do with her life! Because Laura- you will accomplish so many amazing things and I’m so very excited for you… but for now… enjoy your senior year!
I love the small schools in rural areas keeping to my small school roots. Primarily in upstate New York and New England.
Honestly, I don’t really know what I want to major in. I’m interested in the science and math fields, but so far nothing has really jumped out at me screaming yes.
I absolutely love animals and especially running with my dog in the woods. In the winter time, I also love to go alpine skiing.
Last year, I finally understood how to race skiing, racing in the decision I state meet last February.
I’m going to miss the sense of community that my high school has because some of the students I have known since kindergarten and although I am looking for that in college, it will be hard to replicate that same sense of community
Expanding the boundaries beyond the eight-mile radius of my house by meeting new people from different places.
Doing something that I love with people that I love, but the specifics are unknown at this point in time.
