New England Wedding Photographer goes to Hell.
Catchy Title huh?! Well- if it grabbed your attention that it did its job. haha. Truth is- we did have a family vacation in Hell. Yep! There is actually a place on The Grand Cayman Island called hell. ( I have some pictures and a stamp in my passport to prove it! haha) In addition to Hell- we also visited Jamaica, Haiti, and Cozumel. I have to say it was the very best vacation by far.
One thing I really want to do is have my clients (aka friends) and potential clients really get to know who I am as a person. What my interests, and who my family is. This way we can really connect. And it is for this reason that I want to share some personal posts with you.
We left on October 18th and flew to Florida. Our kiddos headed down the night before with my In-laws. My husband and I flew down the day of. ( Brian’s work schedule can be a challenge.) When we got to the port, we boarded our ship, “Independent of the Seas”. We chose to cruise with Royal Caribbean- (my in-laws who are avid cruisers who love Royal Caribbean). So it was no surprise that we loved it too.
At first, I didn’t think that I was going to be able to relax. My family knows me, and how much my business means to me. I’m a stickler for above and beyond customer service, so the thought of not being able to answer emails … Well, lets just say that it really had me worried. But, after covering all angles to make sure everyone knew I was on vacation… I really was able to relax.
It was much needed too. No cell service, no TV, and no internet really was a welcomed treat. ( I recommend that everyone try “unplugging” from time to time)
Enjoy the pictures from my trip. Being that they are personal pictures- there really isn’t much creativity to them. However, they captured memories for us that we will treasure forever.
I’ll start off with Hell- Here are a few pictures from there. . .
Hell was named as such because of this really creepy looking, natural rock formation. You can see what I mean in the image below.

My youngest Son Kyle absolutely LOVES sea turtles. So of course we visited the Turtle Farm.
This old Church is located in Jamaica.
My boys take right after their father when it comes to this sort of stuff. Personally I’m afraid of heights. My kiddos though- it doesn’t phase them in the slightest. They have gone rock climbing on several occasions- as this is a hobby that my husband has. ( He used to be an instructor)
