Winter Portrait session with Amber

Nervous and Excited. Those are just two of the words that I often hear when I ask my K Lenox Family how they are feeling about their session with this Keene Portrait photographer. Often times, one doesn’t know exactly what to expect when going into a portrait session with me, and my reply to this is….” that’s OKAY!” Even if you’ve had a portrait session before- chances are, working with me will be different.

My first tip, is to let go of all expectations and inhibitions. Let’s forget, for a second what the world expects from us. Let yourself just be. Whatever that may be… Be silly. Be serious. Be goofy…..Let’s just have fun. However, it is that you are feeling at that moment… let us capture it. Capture you… just as you are. I promise you’ll love the results. 🙂

One of the things I love most- is working with people to capture the true essences of who they are. Sometimes we really don’t yet know what that is. Maybe our time together will help you see, inside yourself what the rest of the world already see’s. A beautiful person. A beautiful soul. Not necessarily perfection, (besides who’s perfect anyway?) But the perfectly imperfect selves that we are. We all need to love ourselves a little bit more. Be a bit more forgiving of ourselves, and learn to love the awesome people who we are. (mistakes and all)

I strive to have everyone walk away from their session feeling like a rockstar… despite how nervous you may be. (at first) I have a way of easing you into your session so that you are having fun and feeling confident. My goal with every session is to have you feel so comfortable that every moment captured is truly genuine.

Meet Amber. Amber is awesome on so many levels. She and I met first at The Stage Restuarant in Keene- to enjoy a drink before heading out to make some magic! (photographically speaking that is! haha) One thing I LOVED about Amber is her youthful excitement! (and how easy it was for us to just talk) I really enjoyed my time with her, and I see ourselves making plans in the near future to just “hang out”.

Our session was canceled once due to frigid temps and (windy bursts) but like I honestly believe… everything happens for a reason! Because Boy O’ Boy… when did have her session- she KILLED it! We not only had a blast, but we made some kick as pictures! I’m really impressed at how well she tolerated the still very C-O-L-D temps! She’s pretty bad ass!! Enjoy!
