Anna and Kyle’s Summer Wedding at the Bedford Village Inn was incredible in every single way. Now, there’s no secret that the days of traditional weddings are changing. And a new “normal” is forming. This is hard. For everyone. And my heart is going out to all the couples who’s plans have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
But, that doesn’t mean that couples still can’t have a magical and meaningful wedding day celebration. Anna and Kyle proved that to us on Friday, August 7th, when they said “I do” at the Bedford Village Inn.
Anna and Kyle’s original wedding day was supposed to be back in March, right as the pandemic was really taking shape. As our worlds turned upside down, these two stayed positive and continued to plan the wedding of their dreams.
There is no secret, I love the BVI! Everything about this venue is top-notch. Today was the first “full” wedding that I had the honor of photographing since COVID… and I have to say. The Bedford Village Inn did an amazing job of adhering to the safety policies set forth by the state of NH.
Maintaining all the rules and regulations did make my job a tad more challenging, as I was trying to make it look as “normal” as possible.
You may remember these guys from their Engagement Session at the Cathedral of the Pines! (And wait till you see just how much their daughter Harper has grown since then!)
Kyle is a master plumber and gas fitter who owns a business and Anna is mental health counselor that works with youth and families. And together they are a sweet couple, so totally in-love.
Their families came together to safely celebrate alongside the couple. There were a few surprise elements thrown in there too! (That I’ll add throughout the post!)
So why not take a peek into their day!
The getting ready portion of the day is still one of my most favorites. This is always so much anticipation and excitement! Happiness is truly contagious!
Now there is one thing that I don’t do. I don’t pose to perfection. So the “getting ready” images are authentic and real.
Anna and Kyle’s ceremony was the sweetest! And it had a few surprise elements, that truly made it special. For starters, Anna’s Uncle Chris walked Anna’s mother down the aisle. Then, took a spot up at the front as the officiant. But.. here’s the surprise! Chris was just a decoy! Anna’s Father actually officiated the ceremony!
With all the uncertainty today, It made me so very happy that Anna and Kyle had the opportunity to celebrate their Summer Wedding at the Bedford Village Inn
