Nashua Engagement Session

I don’t even know where to begin. I’m already head-over-heels crazy about these two! One reason why I LOVE my job so much is that it’s not a job to me. Sure… it’s how I help support my family, but on the flip side, it’s how I LOVE spending my time. I get to hang out with couples like Meghan and Mike.

We met at Margarita’s in Nashua before heading out to actually shoot their engagement session. I also got to hear how these two met! It’s a great story. You see- Meghan and Mike are both engineers. Working for different companies. They met at a writing class for engineers. A class that each of their employers sent them for some additional training. I’m pretty sure neither of them went to class on that first-day thinking. “Gee, I’m going to meet my future spouse today!”

Well. that’s exactly what happened! They noticed each other. At one point in class… the instructor used Meghan’s email correspondence for an example of a well-written letter. While being displayed on the overhead projector- Mike noticed that her signature included her number…. but it was just out of visibility. So he turned to her and said jokingly, “Too bad we can’t see your number.” Meghan just laughed, not realizing at the time that he was trying to ask her out. The class ended- and they both go their separate ways. Meg though…. she just couldn’t get him out of her head. So she sent him a message on Linkedin. Professional, yet personal. It was perfect! Until… he didn’t respond.

5 days had passed before she heard from him. 5 days! It wasn’t that he was ignoring her… it just so happened that he went on vacation and didn’t check his messages until he returned. So once he received the message- He asked her out! Their first date ended up at a Margarita’s! They hit it off and have been together ever since. I really don’t think my writing of this story gives it justice. (Clearly, I need to attend a writing class!! LOL ) But what I can say is this…. I’m so very honored that I get to work with these two… and now call them friends. I couldn’t be more happy about that.

“Another round?” The waiter at Margarita’s asked us. “Um… Of course!!” So how perfect is it that we met at Margarita’s before their engagement session to relax, talk, laugh and just get to know each other a little bit more before heading out to actually shoot. I mean….The first date at Margarita’s, now we are meeting there to shoot their engagement session!! Pretty cool eh?

Ever hear the quote, “Time flies when you’re having fun.”? Well, it’s true. Time Flew! I recall looking down at my watch to check the time and was like… “Yikes!!” “We need to go.” HAHA. So we headed to Woodmont Orchard for some amazing engagement photos
