New England Back Yard Wedding- in Chesterfield NH.
Although Brian and Stephanie live in California- they decided to have a Charming New England backyard wedding!
Brian proposed at Channel Islands National Park on Santa Cruz Island. The island is uninhabited and completely preserved. You have to take a one-hour ferry ride from Ventura to get there. It has spectacular views of the ocean. They hiked about 4 miles to the other side of the island and sat down on a rock to have lunch. When they finished, they sat out and looked at the surrounding islands and she thought to herself, ‘This would be a great place for Brian to propose.’ Not even one minute later, he knelt down before Stephanie and asked her to be his wife. He proposed with his Grandmother’s original ring.
They decided to have a New England wedding for a few reasons. First, Brian’s father, John, had recently passed away and his home in West Chesterfield is one he built from the ground up. He put a lot of his pride and joy into his home and his home continues to bless the family with so many memories. Secondly, Brian and Stephanie are both East Coasters. She is originally from Orlando, Florida and has a lot of friends and family who wouldn’t have otherwise made it had we not had the wedding back East.
Being that they were planning the wedding from the other side of the country… they hired one of the most awesome wedding planners!! Jenn Matthews of Memorable Events. They had so many details from their wedding! I was only there to photograph part of the day- so I’m going to share with you what I have. I’m so very honored to have been there to spend that time with them- even if only for a few hours. Their ceremony was a full mass held at St. Michaels Church in Brattleboro Vt. It was a beautiful church! And an even more amazing ceremony!

I seriously could post so many more pictures- as this fairytale wedding was full of unique touches. Honestly, I seriously love this couple and wish they lived closer. <3 I’m honored to have been a part of their special day. I truly wish them the best!!
