Where do I even begin? Do I brag about the amazing couple? Do I talk all about the beautiful venue? There is so much that I want to say about Nellie and Stefani’s Summer wedding at Mount Sunapee, that I’m at a loss for words.

I remember talking to these two for the first time, a year ago (almost to the date!) I immediately fell in love with their funny sense of humor, and playful wittiness. But it wasn’t until I met them in person when I truly got to understand just how incredible these two are.
It was at their engagement session where I witnessed how these two interact. I got to see the fun and loving way they look at each other, and their playful nature. It was clear from the first moment that these two beautiful souls loved each other so deeply. It’s a love that many should be jealous of.
Now it’s safe to say that all my couples are pretty awesome. And each one brings a unique and interesting piece of personality to the table. But Nellie and Stefani have a true sense of authenticity about them. Scrolling through their Instagram feeds shows so many cool snippets of their funny, down-to-earth and silly personalities.
I should also mention just how impressive these two are as well. Not only are they insanely GORGEOUS… but they are smart and so very successful. Stefani just graduated with a Ph.D. in Political Science (Hello Dr. STEF!) and Nellie is a financial analyst and was just transferred to LONDON!

The Wedding Day vision…
The most important thing to Nellie and Stefani was getting to celebrate their commitment to each other, surrounded by all of their loved ones.
While many items in their wedding were traditional, they definitely want to have their own twist to things that make it their own. (Beyond just the details like colors or flowers. )
First, they wanted to support independent, women-run businesses in selecting their vendors. They did that with the rings and me!! (haha) Second, they wanted to neutralize a lot of the traditions that are in line with traditional gender norms. For example, both brides had both parents walk them down the aisle.
And… they held their summer wedding at Mount Sunapee! A place that is dear and near to their hearts. Nellie’s family has been visiting this area for six generations… and the traditions are still running deep. (if you check out their engagement session- you will see they chose to have their photos taken at Nellie’s Family’s Lake House right on Lake Sunapee.)

Now let me tell you what a kick-ass group of people these guys are! Fun & down-to-earth! I can’t even begin to tell you just how much fun I had hanging out with these peeps!

Nellie and Stefani’s ceremony was crafted to perfection. Officiated by friends from Colorado- they infused the perfect amount of sentiment, and humor, that made for a beautifully emotional and entertaining commitment of love. (There are many more images… these are just a few!)
The Reception
When it came to the Reception… the one word that comes to mind is FUN! Their summer wedding at Mount Sunapee was made complete with a night filled with amazing toasts, lots of laughter, and a packed dance floor!!
One of the things I LOVED most about their wedding- was the abundance of LOVE and SUPPORT these ladies had. And as I’m editing these photos- I can’t help but smile. This is the kind of wedding celebration that fills my heart with happiness.
There are sooo many fun moments that I wanted to share here… but the post wouldn’t load. LOL. So I had to cut it back. So here is a quick taste of how Nellie and Stefani’s reception went down.
