One goal I have for every wedding isn’t just about photographing beautiful photos. (Don’t get me wrong- I want beautiful photos!) But my definition of truly beautiful may be a tad different. I want to document authenticity, especially between the couple. My goal for every wedding- is to provide the couple with genuine images that reflect who they are as a couple. If the bride and groom have a goofy essence- then damn it- that’s what I want to be sure to document! And I think we did just that with Holly and Adam!

Holly and Adam

I just LOVE these two!!! You may remember Holly and Adam from their Portsmouth Engagement session a few months back. We truly focused on letting these two just play and be goofy. (oh, and we can’t forget Bane- their pride and joy of a furbaby!) It was apparent at their engagement session that these two were fun! And it showed through on their wedding day as well!

Now- the forecast was calling for rain. Significant rain. Which is kinda ironic, because we rescheduled their engagement session so many times because of rain! But this didn’t stop the couple from just letting go of expectations and enjoying their wedding at the Common Man Claremont!

So- the only impact the rain had on these two- was the change in the ceremony location. Mother nature forced us to move the festivities inside. BUT… we were able to capture all their portraits outside! (with only a few raindrops)
