Wells Maine Senior Portraits
You might remember Sarah- as she is one of my badass #Kcrew Senior Reps! ( You can see more from our Senior Shootout HERE) From the first day that I met Sarah- She impressed me. Not only because she is just ever so sweet- but she stands for something so much bigger than what I can ever imagine. At such a young age she fought a battle that is much tougher than I can even comprehend. You see- Sarah is a Cancer Survivor! That’s right… She kicked Cancer’s effin’ ASS! (sorry for the language here… but if you know me- you know that I have a potty mouth! ha)
Anyway- I always say that everything happens for a reason. Reasons that, at times we can not understand. But with everything that life throws at us- we have a choice. We can choose to let it bring us down… or we can choose to Fight. We can choose to wallow in defeat or We can choose to live. We can choose happiness. And that is exactly what Sarah did.

Because of her childhood battle- it shaped her into this amazing, hard working and generous young woman. A beautiful human that donates countless hours towards promoting Cancer research. She does a lot of it through the Destination Imagination (DI) program. I actually first met Sarah at a benefit promoting Bone Marrow Donors and encouraging those to volunteer. (Which… Thanks to her and my other #Badass 2017 Senior Rep Ashlyn- I signed up!!)
When Sarah and her Mom Lisa mentioned having her senior portraits up in Wells Maine- I was all for it!! Sarah was practically raised in this Ocean side town – so I was thrilled to venture up that way to make some beautiful portraits of this girl who I now call a friend.
