The Staff at the Alpine Grove Banquet facility were so kind and sweet- checking in with us before they took off for the day. Which was a great start to Jasmine and Jeffrey’s Alpine Grove Engagement Session! Upon arriving on the property I was so excited to see everything it had to offer! A beautiful Gazebo, a wooden bridge, tall beautiful trees, flowers and a river. Being that these two will also be celebrating their vow renewal their next year- it was great to get a feel for the area before the big day!

Jasmine and Jeffrey

Both Jasmine and Jeffrey are Navy Veterans, which holds a special place in my heart. Jasmine is a very bubbly and sweet gal- and Jeffrey is a bit more quiet, though his goofy side did come out a little during the session. (Which makes my heart happy.) I can’t wait to get to know these two more over the next year!

How did you two lovebirds meet?

Nuclear Field “A” School right after Navy Basic training.

What did you do on your first date? (and was is fun, awkward, nervous etc)

We saw Planet of the Apes out at Isle of Palms and a bad storm blew in knocking out the power.

How did he propose?

It was Christmas Eve. I was tending to our 2 sons, and he got down on a knee and proposed ring in hand.

What do you both do for fun? Hobbies?

Movies, amusement parks, family time.

How are the wedding plans coming along? What are your wedding day visions?

Plans are coming along. No, my Vision is I don’t trip on my dress.

As a couple who is currently actively planning your wedding- can you offer any advice to other couples? What would be your biggest piece of advice?

Communicate. Seriously listen to each other.

What do you both do for a living?

He is. Metrologist and I am an advanced degree homemaker and student.

Anything else you would like to share that is interesting, funny, etc?

This man will eat rice with anything.
