Intimate weddings are always so special to photograph. While the celebration always feels grand, it’s the fact that I get to dedicate more time to just photographing the couple is what really gets me excited. Having photographed Erin and Austin’s engagement session before, I knew I’d have a great time photographing their wedding too. Plus, I was really looking forward to meeting their family, who were all so warm and welcoming. Since I knew the bride and groom already, working with them felt so natural and easy. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Erin and Austin celebrated their love at the Bedford Village Inn.
Erin and Austin’s lovely wedding took place at the Bedford Village Inn in New Hampshire. It is a stunning, historic venue with beautifully landscaped gardens and picturesque backdrops. I have shot countless weddings at this New Hampshire venue, and if you are currently planning your wedding and looking for the perfect venue that allows you to play a good host and offers you plenty of photo ops, the Bedford Village Inn is certainly worth considering.
I started my day photographing the couple getting ready. The bride and groom were clearly excited and had that “we are getting married today!” glow on their faces. Erin and Austin had mentioned during their engagement that they were looking forward to seeing each other for the first time on their wedding day. And for their big day, they decided to do a first look and read their vows privately to each other. They were both beaming from ear to ear after they finished reading their heartfelt words to one another. It was such an emotional and unforgettable moment to witness!
It was a beautiful day with the perfect weather and lighting for Erin and Austin’s lovely outdoor wedding. The ceremony was intimate and emotional, with only their siblings as their wedding party. The groom’s best man was his identical twin, and they had their friend Alex officiate the lovely ceremony. The vibrant fall colors added to the lovely backdrop as the couple exchanged vows.
Erin and Austin’s reception was a blast! The decorations were beautiful, and their guests really knew how to have fun. The dance floor was packed all night, and there was never a dull moment. It was heartwarming to see how loved and supported Erin and Austin were. They are such wonderful people, and they truly deserved their big day to be so special.
Erin and Austin, thank you for having me as your wedding photographer. It was so nice to have the opportunity to spend another day with you both. As always, it was a pleasure being in your company, and I loved taking your wedding photos. Thank you for everything! I look forward to photographing your future milestones! Congratulations, once again.
